Input help

You can input text on qvox.org using Markdown Syntax or plain HTML. Here's a quick guide to the most common Markdown commands.

Creating content

You can upload content in two main ways - to the site as a whole, or to groups you are a member of. The way creating content works on qvox.org is very similar to Livejournal. This can be confusing at first, as to add content to a group you just go through everything in the usual way and make some selections at the end. To add any information, go to the top right when you are logged in and select "Create Content". This will then give you a variety of options.

Groups
Groups are the guts of the site. Groups are like little subsites. You can set these up for any groups you're part of, and people can use it as a webpage, upload things for other members and so on. More on this later! Most content types can be posted into groups.

The queer web project is always looking for new people to help out!

We need all kinds of skills, from coders to PR people to directors to guide our progress.

Where we're at

Development is coming along nicely, but we're at a stage where some more data and input would be very helpful indeed. The site isn't at a usable stage, but huge bits of the development are in place.
